Everyone is registered to vote, right? If not, do that by following this link. We can't stress the importance of voting enough. Four years ago the current governor in the state of Washington, Christina Gregoire won the election by just over 100 votes. That's pretty fucking close, and should be a good example of how important it is to vote.

Obama for yo mama. That's right, we support Barack Obama as the next president of the United States. Why is it important for bands and artists to voice their opinion on this? Other than the obvious reasons, it seems like these folks have the right idea. This national election is huge for our country and the world.... not like we need to tell you that. Please, take the time to vote and get involved in supporting Barack Obama in whatever way you can.

Speaking of politics... we're playing a benefit show on September 30th at The Tractor in Seattle for our friend Holley. She's a great person AND a bartender without health insurance who's stumbled on some unfortunate times with her health. We're doing what we can to help her pay off the medical bills. This, of course, is topical because the best thing we can do to make an effort in health care reform is to elect Barack Obama as our next president. We all know Hillary had the better health care plan, but still, electing Obama would be a much needed step in a positive direction.
